Christopher Schaefer is a retired adult educator having taught for many years at both Emerson College in England and at Sunbridge College in Chestnut Ridge, N.Y. He has been a founding member of the Social Science Section work in the U.S. and has consulted internationally with many Waldorf schools and other institutions inspired by Rudolf Steiner’s work. He is the coauthor of Vision in Action: Working with Soul and Spirit in Small Organizations,(with Tijno Voors), and the author of Partnerships of Hope: Building Waldorf School Communities,ReImaging America: Finding Hope in Difficult Times and the editor of Moved by Destiny: LifeStories of Social Engagement. He lives with his wife Signe Eklund Schaefer in the Berkshires.
