Laurie Portacarrero WORKSHOP for students, parents and interested people!

The long-time actor, storyteller, and drama teacher, Laurie Portacarrero brings the wisdom of great artists and thinkers such as Shakespeare, Michael Chekhov, and Rudolf Steiner. Join us for an exploration of our complex relationship with the awesome power of the spoken word. We will investigate together our complicated relationship to the spoken word and its use through movement and speaking, in game and drama exercise, and poetry. We will see if we can’t begin to take steps toward awakening to our high destiny as human beings: co-creating through our word our selves, our relationships, and our world.
